Anthony "Tony" Nachtigal

Little Rock, Iowa Anthony Nachtigal, age 24 of Little Rock, IA died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Avera " McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD from injuries sustained in an accident. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, Oct. 11th at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Sibley, IA. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Little Rock, IA. Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 10th from 2:00 to 8:00 PM, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home in Sibley. Anthony Duane Nachtigal was born December 2, 1986 in Sibley, Iowa, the son of Terry and Pam (Fox) Nachtigal. He was raised in Little Rock, IA and attended the George Little Rock Community Schools. During his school years he worked at Auto Grafx in Sheldon, IA until 2008 and enjoyed racing Go-carts in the Tri-state area. He also enjoyed ice fishing, hunting, trapping and working on motors with his friends. On February 8, 2004 Tony and Lindsay Jurrens gave birth to their daughter, Mackenzie Jurrens. Tony graduated from G-LR High School in 2005. In 2008 he began working for Doedens Construction in Sibley. He will be missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his daughter, Mackenzie Jurrens of George, IA; parents, Terry and Pam Nachtigal of Little Rock, IA; a brother, David Nachtigal of Hartley, IA; a sister, Lacey Nachtigal of Melvin, IA; paternal grandmother, Carol Nachtigal of Little Rock, IA; a niece, Kaylee Nachtigal; a nephew, Braxton Nachtigal, both of Spencer, IA; two aunts, Vicki (Dave) Julius of Little Rock, IA and Janet Hayden of Sibley, IA; two uncles, Daniel (Rose) Fox of Hastings, NE and Michael (Michelle) Fox of Ashton, IA; and many other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Duane Nachtigal; maternal grandparents, George Sr. and Rosella Fox; and an uncle, George Fox Jr. Blessed be his memory.
