Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 8th at Holy Name Catholic Church in Rock Rapids, IA with Fr. Jeff Scheisman and Fr. Tom Fitzpatrick, concelebrating. Private burial will follow in Holy Name Catholic Cemetery at Rock Rapids, IA. He leaves behind his loving parents Justin and Jill, his siblings Korryn and Samuel of Rock Rapids, IA; grandparents Randy and Jan Martinmaas of Orient, SD and Paul and Julie Christensen of Brayton, IA; great-grandparents Duane and Belva Martchinske of Faulkton, SD, Bill Martinmaas of Orient, SD and Betty Simonsen of Exira, IA; aunts and uncles, Bill and Darci Martinmaas of Orient, SD and Jeremy and Charity Christensen of Grimes, IA; cousins Micah, Emma and Max Martinmaas of Orient, SD. Alex was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Wanelda Martinmaas, Glee and Elaine Christensen and Carl Simonsen.
