Patricia Lou Nuffer

Hills, MN Patricia Nuffer, age 85 of Hills, MN died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Tuff Memorial Home of Hills. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 16th at the United Methodist Church in Luverne, MN, with Rev. Theodora Hull officiating. Private family burial will follow the meal at Pleasant View Cemetery rural Luverne, MN. Visitation will be Friday, February 15th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jurrens Funeral Home of Hills. Patricia Lou Nuffer was born April 12, 1927 in St. Paul, MN. She graduated from Hills High School and attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. Patricia met her husband to be, Cletus Nuffer, while they both were playing the clarinet in the high school band and on December 12, 1946 they were united in marriage at Salem Evangelical Church in Fairmont, MN. To this union six children were born. She and her husband farmed near Hills. Patricia was a member of the United Methodist Church in Luverne, MN. She took part in the Extension Club in Hills, the Womens Church Circle and the Friendship Club. She enjoyed embroidery. Patricia is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Morris) Fick of Luverne, MN; Cleo (Mark) Granneman of Northfield, MN; Allen (Sue) Nuffer of Hills, MN; George (Jo) Nuffer of Sioux Falls, SD; Mary (Rick) Martens of Madison, SD; Janice Nuffer of Steen, MN; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Qualley; husband, Cletus Nuffer; granddaughter, Jamie Nuffer.
