Rock Rapids, IA Delores E. Reverts, age 81 of Rock Rapids, IA died Sunday, September 14, 2014, at Good Samaritan Society in George, IA. Private family services will be held per Delores's request. Delores was born Nov. 27, 1932 to Henry and Jeanette (Nagel) Kolthoff near Sibley, IA. Delores attended school in Little Rock, IA. Delores was united in marriage to Delmer Reverts on Feb. 14, 1950. They had two children, Delvin and Jolene. Delores was united in marriage to Richard DenHartog on May 22, 1965. They had no children. Delores worked in many local cafes and steakhouses as waitress and cook. In 1973 she became employed at K-Products until she retired after 18 years of service. Survivors include her daughter, Jolene Crane of Rock Rapids; 2 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lois Delfs of Phoenix, AZ. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, son, Delvin Reverts, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Beverly Kolthoff.
