Ocheyedan, IA Memorial service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 5th at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ocheyedan, IA, with Rev. Russell Anderson officiating. Private burial will be in the Ocheyedan Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4th from 2 " 8 PM, with the family present from 6 " 8 PM at the Walton-Roste Funeral Home of Sibley. Beverly May Baker was born on January 23, 1938 in Ocheyedan, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Lilly (Lutson) Frohwein. She was raised in the Ocheyedan area and graduated from Ocheyedan High School. Beverly was united in marriage to Julius Baker in February of 1959 in Ocheyedan. Together they lived in the Ocheyedan area. After the passing of her husband, she attended N.C.C. in Sheldon and received her C.N.A. and then worked at Country View Manor in Sibley. She enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, college basketball and reading. Her family will best remember her as a caring person who always put everyones needs before her own. This past Monday, April 2, 2007 Beverly died at the Northwest Iowa Health Center in Sheldon, IA at the age of 69. She is survived by two sons, David (and Mary) Baker of Sanborn, IA and Doug (and Fran) Baker of Allendorf, IA; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry (and Valera) Frohwein of Sheldon, IA; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lily Frohwein; her husband, Julius Baker; two brothers, Blaine and Wendall Frohwein; and a grandson, Travis Baker.
