Larchwood, IA Edna E. Quinlivan, 88, of Zion, IL, formerly of Larchwood, IA died on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Friday, Jan. 11th at The Church of St. Mary in Larchwood, with Fr. Jeff Schleisman as Celebrant. Burial will follow at the Larchwood Cemetery with Full Military Honors by Flessner American Legion Post No. 561 of Larchwood. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 10th from 2 " 8 PM, with the family present from 6 " 8 PM at The Church of St. Mary. There will be a 7:30 PM Vigil Service Thursday evening at The Church of St. Mary in Larchwood. Edna was born was October 12, 1919 in Norway, Iowa, and moved to Parkston, S. Dak., with her parents in 1920. She graduated from St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen, S. Dak. with a registered nurses degree in 1941 and served in the Army Nurses Corp from 1945-1946. Edna worked for the V.A. Hospital in Sioux Falls from 1948-1952, and married George Quinlivan on January 28, 1952. She and George lived on a farm in Larchwood, Iowa, from 1952-1976 and then she moved to the Illinois in 1983. Edna was Past President of American Legion Auxillaryl#561 in Larchwood, Iowa. Edna was an active member of Our Lady of Humility Church in Beach Park, IL serving with the Womens Club, Bereavement Committee and Parish Works Committee. Edna is survived by four children, Mary (Ed Bending) Quinlivan of Island Lake, IL, Vera (Al) Pawlowski of Lake Villa, IL, Margie Quinlivan of Scottsdale, AZ, and Bill (Patti) Quinlivan of Sioux Falls, S.Dak.; grandchildren, Andre and Stefon Pawlowski, Jessica McCart, and Sarah and Coleman Quinlivan; sister, Erma Neuberger of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers, Franklin (Monica) Horstman of Dimock, S. Dak, and Bernard Horstman of Mitchell, S. Dak.; and sister-in-law, Adele Boddicker of Parkston, S.
