Terry Lee Janssen

Terry L. Janssen, age 22 of Sioux Falls, SD, formerly of Sibley, IA died Saturday, September 30, 2006 near Everly, IA, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 4th at the Walton-Roste Funeral Home of Ashton, with Rev. Rick Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Holman-Township Cemetery in Sibley, IA. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 3rd from 2 " 8 PM, with the family present from 6 " 8 PM at the Walton-Roste Funeral Home of Ashton. Terry Lee Janssen was born on January 13, 1984 in Sibley, Iowa, the son of Randy and Shelly (Luenberger) Janssen. He was raised on the family farm south of Sibley and attended Sibley Community Schools and was active in FFA and Chorus. He graduated from Clarinda Academy in Clarinda, IA. Terry then returned to the Sibley area and worked at various jobs such as farming and construction. In January of 2006, Terry moved to Sioux Falls, SD and began working for Gage Brothers Concrete. Terry loved fishing, hunting and riding his four wheeler. Terry will be remembered as a young man who lived life to the fullest, enjoying his time with his friends and family. He is survived by his parents, Randy and Shelly Janssen of Sibley, IA; a sister, Tabitha Janssen of Little Rock, IA; a nephew, Brayden Janssen of Little Rock, IA; grandparents, Dean and Jane (Wallrich) Janssen of Sibley, IA; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Betty Bechler.
