David Ripley

George, IA David Ripley age 62 of George, IA died December 26, 2011 at his home in George. Services will be held later this year. David Ripley was born in Sibley, Iowa, on Dec. 8 ,1949 to Frances and Marjorie Ripley. He was raised in George, and graduated from George high school in 1968. He then served in the United States Air Force during the Viet-Nam War as an Avionics Technician working on F-4's and other aircraft. He was married to Linda Myers in February of 1969 and later had 2 sons. After his Military Service he worked as an electrician for some time before graduating from Northwestern College of Chiropractic. His hobbies included playing and repairing violins, creating hand-made knives, and electronics and woodworking. He is survived by his sons Michael and Neil and his brother Wayne. He is preceded in death by his parents Frances and Marjorie and his brother Bryce.
