Luetta M. Dammann

Little Rock, Iowa Luetta M. Dammann, age 78 of Little Rock, IA died Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley, IA. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, July 12th at the Salem Reformed Church in Little Rock, with Rev. Brian Hellinga officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasantview Cemetery in Little Rock. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 11th from 2 " 8 PM, with the family present from 6 " 8 PM at the Salem Reformed Church in Little Rock. LuEtta Mathilda Dammann was born on January 4, 1929, the daughter of Calvin and Henrietta (Popkes) Russman in rural Ellsworth, MN. She grew up on the farm there and attended Little Rock Country School. On April 28, 1952, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Dammann at the Salem Reformed Church in Little Rock, IA. LuEtta was a homemaker and cared for her family most of her life. LuEtta worked with Kenneth in the Locker Plant wrapping meat. She also worked for the Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Ellsworth, MN for several years. She was a member of the Salem Reformed Church, Willing Workers, Elgin Homemakers and a 4-H club leader. LuEtta is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Kenneth Dammann; three children, Tim (wife Lisa) Dammann of Little Rock, Miriam (husband Paul) Cunningham of Round Lake, MN and Naomi (husband Bruce) Lubben of Worthington, MN; seven grandchildren, Thomas and special friend Angie Taarud, Sarah and Benjamin Cunningham of Round Lake, MN, Brett Dammann of Sioux Falls, SD, Jordan Dammann of Little Rock, IA and Stephanie and Kristi Lubben of Worthington, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Henrietta Russman; and one sister, Marilyn Heidebrink.
