Lester, Iowa Paul C. Feucht, age 95 of Canton, SD died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Society in Canton, SD. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, Oct. 11th at the Apostolic Christian Church in Lester, IA. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 10th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 " 8:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall in Lester. Jurrens Funeral Home of Rock Rapids is in charge of arrangements. Paul C. Feucht was born February 19, 1913 in Lester, Iowa, the son of Carl and Pauline (Knobloch) Feucht. On December 24, 1943, he married Josephine Van Engen. Paul farmed around the Lester area until moving to Canton in 1963 where he continued to farm. After retiring from farming, Paul worked for Huntting Elevator in Canton for several years. Survivors include his wife, Josephine of Canton, four sons, Duane (Teresa) of Fairview, Doug (Renae) of Baltic, Mike (Paula) of Canton and Lowell (Marleen) of Canton; seventeen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren; one brother, John of Morton, IL and sister, Pauline Schick of Washington, IL. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, son, Richard, eight brothers and four sisters.
