Tillie Voss

Sibley, IA Tillie Voss, age 75 of Sibley, IA, died Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Prairie View Home in Sanborn, IA. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, Nov. 28th at Jurrens Funeral Home in Sibley. Burial will follow at Holman Township Cemetery in Sibley. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 27th from 2:00 to 8:00 PM, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jurrens Funeral Home of Sibley. Tillie Voss was born August 14, 1934 to Henry and Agnes (Kruse)Hinrichs near Little Rock, IA. She was raised in the Little Rock Area and attended country school. On January 21, 1966 she was united in marriage to Arnie Voss. To this union one child was born. In her earlier years Tillie kept house for different people in the area and later spent 10 years working at AMPI. She loved to read her Bible. She enjoyed going to Bible studies, church meetings and visiting with her friends. She was especially close to her sister Sylva and truly enjoyed spending time with her. Tillie also enjoyed traveling with her husband Arnie. Tillie is survived by her husband of forty three years, Arnie Voss; son Eric Voss of Sibley, IA; sister, Sylvia (Robert) Rolfes of Sibley, IA; aunts, Grace Kruse and Martha Kruse both of Ellsworth, MN.; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, George Hinrichs.
