Debra Susan Langenhorst

Rock Rapids, IA Debra Langenhorst, age 57 of Rock Rapids, IA died Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Rock Rapids Health Centre in Rock Rapids after a courageous battle with cancer. Private family funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Jurrens Funeral Home in Rock Rapids, IA with Fr. Jeff Schleisman and Deacon Jeff Gallagher, officiating. Burial will follow at Larchwood Cemetery in Larchwood, IA. Debbie Langenhorst was born February 26, 1953 in Orange City, Iowa to Harold and Barbara (Full) Langenhorst. For the past 35 years Debbie had been a resident of the Rock Rapids Health Centre where she leaves behind many special caregivers that loved her dearly. Grateful for sharing Debbies life are her siblings, brother, Carrol (Janet) Langenhorst, of Newton, KS; sister, Linda (Dennis) Kotz of Des Moines, IA; brother, Dave (Donna) Langenhorst of Larchwood, IA; sister, Lori (Larry) Summers of Larchwood, IA; and brother, Alan (Connie) Langenhorst of Centennial, CO; brother-in-law, Greg Nelson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and caregivers. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold (Demps) and Barbara Langenhorst; and sister, Shirley Nelson. In Lieu of flowers, family wishes memorials be directed to Debbie's brother, Dave Langenhorst at 1869 Laurel St. Larchwood, IA 51241. Memorials will be used for Rock Rapids Health Centres Wish List.
