Little Rock, IA David DeBerg age 52 of Little Rock, IA died Friday, February 4, 2011 at Sanford Hospital in Rock Rapids, IA. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8th at First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, IA with Rev. Scott Burdsall officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery at Little Rock, IA. David Lynn DeBerg was born April 7, 1958, at Rock Rapids, IA the son of Edna (Broesder) and Martin DeBerg. David was raised in Little Rock. He graduated from Rock Rapids High School in 1976. He was known to many by the nickname of Moose. David was a kind and loving son, brother, uncle and friend to his family and others. David was last employed by Seal Pro in Sioux Falls where he drove truck. David courageously fought cancer and died this past Friday evening, February 4, 2011 at the Sanford Hospital in Rock Rapids at the age of fifty-two. He is survived by his mother, Edna DeBerg of Little Rock, IA; brother, Dorin DeBerg of Little Rock, IA; sister, Monica (Rob) DeBerg-Peace of Toledo, OH; his nieces and nephews; Robert, Maddison, Khalil and Kendall Peace of Toledo, OH; along with his aunts, uncles and cousins. David was preceded in death by his father, Martin; his grandparents, Ed and Gert Broesder and Jake and Verna DeBerg.
