Martha Wilma Kruse

Sibley, IA Martha W. Kruse, age 89 of Sibley, IA, died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley. Memorial service will be 2:30 PM Thursday, September 9th, 2010 at First Reformed Church in Sibley, with Reverend Gary Van Heukelom officiating. Burial will take place prior to the service at Pleasant View Cemetery in Little Rock, IA. Family and friends will gather at the funeral Home in Sibley at 12:00 PM before leaving for the cemetery in Little Rock. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8th from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home of Sibley. Family will greet friends the day of the service at First Reformed Church from 1:00 until time of service. Martha Wilma Kruse was born August 3, 1921 to William and Henrietta (Rosenboom) Bothof. She grew up in the Sibley and Little Rock area. Martha married Henry Kruse on December 5, 1940 and they lived first by Sanborn and then on a farm by Little Rock. Marthas whole life centered around being a farm wife. Henry passed away in October 1980. Martha resided on the farm until 1990 when she moved to Sibley. She is survived by, son, Burdell (Julie) Kruse of Luverne, MN, daughter, Linda (Merle) Schuett of Sheldon, IA and daughter, Faye (John) Vos of Sibley, IA; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marguerite Bothof of Sibley, IA, Pauline (George) Muller of Spencer, IA, Dorothy (Wilfred) Kooiker of Sheldon, IA, Carol (Durwood) Getting of Sibley, IA, and Idelle (Don) Mastbergen of Sheldon, IA. Martha was preceded in death by, her parents; husband, Henry; sister, Harriet Bothof; a grandson; son-in-law; and great-grandson.
