Peyton Marie Block

Sibley, Iowa Peyton Marie Block, age 3 of Sibley, IA passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley, IA. Mass of The Angels will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, March 23rd at St. Marys Catholic Church in Ashton, IA, with Father John Vakulskas and Father Tim Hogan concelebrating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Ashton, IA. Visitation will be Thursday, March 22nd from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, with a Vigil service starting at 7:30 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home of Sibley. Peyton Marie Block was born September 13, 2008 at The Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Brad and Lisa (Thiesse) Block. Peyton lived in Sibley, IA. She was very well known by her pretty blue eyes and her long eye lashes. She could brighten anyones day by her presence in the room. She loved going for walks feeling the breeze across her face, listening to music, watching and listening to her puppy Remi play outside, playing dress-up with moms help, and going to pre-school this year by skyping on the computer with her friends. For such a little girl who endured many obstacles in her life she made a great impact on many of our lives in such a short time. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends on many occasions. After many health complications Peyton passed away this past Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the age of 3. She is survived by her parents, Brad and Lisa Block of Sibley, IA; grandparents, Mike and Andrea Block, Shari and Tony Batcheller, Lavonne Thiesse, Ron and Connie Thiesse, great-grandparents, Irven and Judy Block, Erma Winter, Colleen Holtrop, Eugene Holtrop; great-great-grandma, Mary Holtrop; aunts and uncles, Matt and Crystal Block, Kelly and Sally Forrester, Paige and Parker Edgington, Bridget, Brooke, Megan, Michaela, Michael Block, Laura Thiesse, Steve Swart, Lindsey, Cody, Marco and Lacey Thiesse, Special friends Karen Johnson, Kay Wynia and Kylee Zinn; and many other extended family.
