Tracy Lynne Jurrens

Little Rock, IA Tracy Jurrens, age 45 of Little Rock, IA died Monday, December 12, 2011 at her home in Little Rock. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Jurrens Funeral Home in Sibley, IA, with Pastor David Vander Laan officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, December 15th from 2-8 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at the Jurrens Funeral Home of Sibley. Tracy Lynne Jurrens was born on July 1, 1966 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Neil and Donna (Hoch) Amos. She grew up in Wisconsin and attended and graduated from high school there. She then went on to college and received her degree in Veterinarian studies to be a Lab Technician. On August 4, 2003, Tracy was united in marriage to Shane Jurrens in Rock Rapids, IA. Tracy worked for a Vet Clinic in Beloit, WI for a time, one in Sioux Center, IA and then Rock Rapids, IA. She most recently worked for Newport Laboratory in Sibley, IA. Tracy was very outgoing, loved animals, enjoyed making flower arrangements and hunting and fishing. Shane will always remember how happy Tracy was when she would talk about her early years at her parents cabin in Wisconsin. Tracy is survived by her husband of eight years, Shane Jurrens of Little Rock, IA; her mother, Donna Amos of Beloit, WI; one brother, Mike Amos of Minneapolis, MN; father-in-law, Fred Hans Jurrens of Little Rock, IA and aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her father, Neil Amos.
