Sibley, Iowa Annabelle Leffler Tott peacefully passed away July 17, 2008 at age 89, surrounded by family. A celebration of Anns life will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 22nd at the United Methodist Church in Sibley. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM Tuesday morning until the hour of service. Annabelle Tott was born in Marion, Ohio, July 5th 1919 to Carl and Helen (Bain) Leffler. She attended Iowa State University, where she met her husband Glenn at a school dance. She graduated in 1942 with a degree in Home Economics. Glenn and Annabelle were married in 1943. Following Glenns Army Air Corp duties in WWII, they eventually settled in Sibley where they raised their four children. Ann was socially active and greatly valued her many friends. She enjoyed PEO, Monday Morning coffee, sewing club, bridge club, church activities, UMW, and time spent at the cabin with friends at Lake Okoboji. Her honesty, generosity, and kind heart were an inspiration to her family and friends. The presence of her absence is everywhere Ann is survived by her husband of 65 years, Glenn C. Tott; and four children, Carl and wife Judy Tott of Americus, GA; Timothy Tott of Camilla, GA; Jeffrey Tott of Sewickley, PA; Elizabeth Tott and partner Dianne of Minneapolis, MN. Also survived by grandchildren Glenn Tott III and wife Dr. Carolina Mateus of Munich, Germany; Dr. Kristin Collier and husband Jamie of Macon, GA; Natalie Tott & Jeffrey Tott of Sewickley, PA; Luke Tott of Huntington Beach, CA and two great-grandchildren, Lainey Collier and Isabel Tott.
