Eleanor V. (Kruger) Aning

Ellsworth, MN Eleanor V. (Kruger) Aning, age 83 of Ellsworth formerly of Luverne, MN died Friday, April 2, 2010 at Parkview Manor at Ellsworth, MN. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 6th at First Presbyterian Church at Little Rock, IA with Rev. Scott Burdsall, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery at Little Rock, IA. Visitation will be Monday April 5th from 2:00 " 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 " 8:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. Eleanor was born August 9, 1926 in Elgin Township, Lyon County, Iowa, the daughter and youngest child of Harry and Anna (Kaster) Bramley. She attended country school through the 8th grade and graduated from Little Rock High School in 1944. Following her education, she helped on the family farm. On March 3, 1955, Eleanor was united in marriage to Henry M. (Heinie) Kruger in Ellsworth. They lived in Ellsworth for 6 years before moving to a farm northwest of Little Rock in 1961. Heinie died on March 27, 1965. Eleanor stayed in rural Little Rock for the next 30 years, moving to Ellsworth in 1995. On December 10, 1998, Eleanor was united in marriage to Menno Aning of Luverne. They made their home on Mennos farm south of Luverne until his death on March 2, 2006. In September of 2006, Eleanor became a resident of Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Ellsworth. She is survived by one son, Greg and his wife Peggy Kruger of Ellsworth, and three grandchildren: Joe Kruger and Glen Kruger of Worthington, and Sarah Wielocha and her husband Paul of Sioux Falls, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry, an infant son Terry, her husband Menno, four brothers: Leslie, Donald, Clarence, and Mid Bramley, and three sisters: Beatrice Janssen, Mae Pope, and Evelyn Perusse.
