Rock Rapids, IA RoseMary Borman age 83 of Rock Rapids, IA died Monday, December 26th, 2011 at Sanford Hospital in Rock Rapids, IA. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 30th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Rapids with Rev. Dan Kordahl officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids. Visitation will take place Thursday, December 29th from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Jurrens Funeral Home in Rock Rapids, IA. RoseMary (Eihausen) Borman was born in Rock Rapids, IA on February 2, 1928 to George and Jennie (Buss) Eihausen. She attended country school in the Rock Rapids area and graduated from Wilson High School of Rock Rapids, IA. After graduating, RoseMary attended Westmar College in LeMars, IA, earned her teaching certificate and taught in country schools for several years. On October 9, 1949 RoseMary was united in marriage to Kenneth Borman at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Rapids, IA. After marriage, RoseMary retired from teaching to raise her family and help Ken on the farm. RoseMary was an active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed gardening, canning her produce and raising chickens. RoseMary enjoyed visits from family and friends and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Due to declining health, RoseMary became a resident of the Rock Rapids Health Centre in August of 2011. Following a brief illness, RoseMary passed away at Sanford Medical Center in Rock Rapids on December 26, 2011. She was eighty-three years of age. RoseMary is survived by two daughters, Bonnie (David) Goldston of Bentleyville, OH; and Kimberle (David) Miller of George, IA; two sons, Keith (Lori) Borman and Brian (Terri) Borman, both of Rock Rapids, IA; eight grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; two sisters, Kathryn Newborg of Rock Rapids, IA and Phyllis Moeller of Denver, CO; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Borman; her parents, George and Jennie Eihausen; two sisters, Alice Huls and Bertha (Babe) Weatherbee; and two brothers, Albert and Marvin Eihausen.
