Grace Lena Neubauer

Little Rock, Iowa Grace Neubauer, age 90 of Little Rock, IA died on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the Rock Rapids Health Care Centre in Rock Rapids, IA. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 21stat the Salem Reformed Church in Little Rock, IA, with Reverend Michael Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Little Rock. Visitation will be Saturday, September 21st one hour prior to the service at the church. Jurrens Funeral Home of Little Rock is in charge of services. Grace Lena (Henrichs) Neubauer was born on March 26, 1923 west of Little Rock, IA, the daughter of Aljet and Grace (Uden) Henrichs. She grew up in Little Rock and attended country school there. On November 5, 1958, she was united in marriage to Elmer Neubauer in Little Rock, IA. The couple made their home in Little Rock and on September 16, 1991 Elmer passed away. Grace continued to live in Little Rock until February of 2000 when she moved to Rosewood Heights in Rock Rapids. She was mostly a homemaker but did some babysitting throughout the years. Grace loved jewelry, clothes and shopping at Dollar General where she bought double and triple of everything. On April 9, 2012, Grace was moved to Rock Rapids Health Centre where she passed away this past Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the age of 90. Grace is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Riebeling of Alvord, IA; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; four sisters, Anke Jurrens, Minnie Lursen, Helen Jurrens and Annie Harms; and five brothers, Ben, Willie, Reiner, George and Ollie Henrichs.
