Hills, MN Bradley Hadler, age 48 of Sioux Falls, SD died Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Avera-McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD after a brief battle with cancer. Funeral service will be 2:30 PM, Saturday, January 17th at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hills, MN, with Pastor Mary Dodgson officiating. Burial will follow at Beaver Creek Cemetery in Beaver Creek, MN. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 16th from 2:00 to 8:00 PM, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jurrens Funeral Home of Hills. Bradley Jay Hadler was born on July 29, 1960, the son of Rodney and Carol (Arp) Hadler in Luverne, MN. He grew up on a farm north of Beaver Creek and graduated from Hills-Beaver Creek High School in 1978. After high school he attended Southwest State University in Marshall, MN for one year. In 1982 he was united in marriage to Rene` Blanchette. In 1996, he moved to California and in 1999 moved to Sioux Falls, SD. Brad was employed at CCL Label in Sioux Falls. He had a love for music, drawing, painting, watching old movies and was an avid reader. Brad was very fond of his dog Sadie and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Brad will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humor and dry wit. He is survived by his parents, Rodney and Carol Hadler of Hills, MN; two children, Benjamin Hadler of Portland, OR; and Meghan Hadler of Sioux Falls, SD; four siblings, Danette (Doug) Deragisch of Marshall, MN, Mark (Brenda) Hadler of Edgerton, MN, Tracy (Craig) Soehl of Marshall, MN and Kelly (Dawn) Hadler of Luverne, MN: a special friend Ken Dickinson of Sioux Falls, SD; six nieces and five nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Thelma Hadler and Verlyn and Luetta Arp.
