Donna Mae Tracy

Sibley & Ocheyedan, IA Donna Mae Tracy, age 69 of Sibley, IA died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at the Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Funeral service will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Ocheyedan, IA. Burial will follow in the Ocheyedan Township Cemetery of Ocheyedan. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. with the family present from 6-8 P.M. on Friday, March 9th, at the Walton-Roste Funeral Home of Sibley. Donna Mae Tracy was born on October 2, 1937, the daughter of George and Loraine (Wentler) Grubaugh in Harris, Iowa. She graduated from Sibley High School. On May 26, 1957, Donna married Willard Tracy at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sibley. The couple lived in New Jersey for three months, Worthington, MN for two years, Sibley until 1977, Sioux Falls where they managed an apartment complex, then moved to Ocheyedan and back to Sibley in 2002. Donna enjoyed traveling, cooking for her family and taking her children fishing. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. Donna is survived by her husband of over forty-nine years, Willard Tracy of Sibley; four children: Duane (Lynette) Tracy of Ocheyedan, Gary (Julie) Tracy of Ocheyedan, Donald (Sharon) Tracy of Eagan, MN and Lori (Lavern) Metz of Yankton, SD; eleven grandchildren: Daniel and Seth Tracy, Gregory, Jill and Jodi Tracy, Kyle, Ethan and Michael Tracy and Justin, Staci and Jason Metz; two sisters, Shirley (Marty) Thieson of Sibley and Joyce (Jerry) Ferguson of Sibley; one brother, Richard Grubaugh of Sibley and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Delores and one brother in infancy Roy.
