Rock Rapids, IA Arloise Mulder, age 91 of Cedar Falls, IA, formerly of Rock Rapids, IA died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls, IA. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, Sept. 27th at United Methodist Church in Rock Rapids, IA, with Rev. Anita Bane officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids. Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 26th from 2 " 8 PM, with the family present from 6 " 8 PM at the Roste Funeral Home of Rock Rapids. Arloise Mulder was born June 14, 1916 to Amanda (Leins) Fields and Henry Fields in Wilmont Township of Nobles County, Minnesota. She grew up near Rushmore, Minnesota and graduated from Adrian High School, Adrian Minnesota. She married Henry C. Mulder in 1938. They farmed in the Ellsworth, Minnesota area. In 1950 they moved to Rock Rapids, Iowa. After the death of her husband in 1957, she continued to run the Culligan Softwater Service. After selling the business, she worked at Merrill Pioneer Hospital for 18 years before retiring. Arloise is survived by her children, Dallas (Carolyn) Mulder of Naples, Florida, Arlis (Dennis) Sinclair of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Larry Mulder of Belgium, Wisconsin, and Marsha (Douglas) Britt of Mission Viejo, California. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Arloise was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother, Everil Fields, and a sister, Leora Loof. Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church of Rock Rapids, Iowa.
