Sibley, Sibley, Iowa Agnes Hinrichs, age 96 of Sibley, IA died Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the Country View Manor in Sibley, Iowa. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, December 5th at the Jurrens Funeral Home, with Jeff Thayer and Mike Henry officiating. Burial will follow in the Holman Township Cemetery of Sibley. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 4th from 2:00 to 8:00 PM, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home of Sibley. Agnes Hinrichs was born May 11, 1912 in Simonswolde, Germany, the daughter of Uffe and taalke (Kwinkensteen) Kruse. In 1930 Agnes moved with her family to the United States and settled in the George, IA area. She was united in marriage to Henry Hinrichs at George, IA. Following their marriage they farmed in the George and Little Rock areas. She is survived by her two daughters, Tille and husband, Arnie Voss and Sylvia and husband, Robert Rolfes of, all of Sibley, IA; nine grandchildren, Eric Voss of Sibley, IA, Donna and husband, Mark Wibben of Rock Rapids, IA, Janice and husband, Jeff Weidert of Lismore, IA, Roger and wife Brenda Hinrichs of Little Rock, IA, Steve and wife Bridget Hinrichs of Ellsworth, MN, Patsy and husband, Doug Weber of Ashton, IA, Missy and husband Layton Gruis of Adrian, MN, Andrea and husband, Mike Block of Sibley, IA and Michael Rolfes of Sibley, IA; eighteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Kruse and Martha Kruse, both of Ellsworth, MN; a nephew, Martin and wife, Greta Kruse of Simonswolde, Germany; and many other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry; a son, George; and three brothers and a sister.
