Norma Hagge

Rock Rapids, IA Norma Hagge, age 97 of Rock Rapids, died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at the Rock Rapids Health Centre in Rock Rapids. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 27th at the Christian Church (Disciples) in Rock Rapids. Burial will follow at the Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids. Visitation will be Thursday, December 27th from 9:00 AM, until the hour of service at the church. Norma Hagge was born on October 9, 1910, the daughter of Richard and Anna (Moeller) Wiese on a farm near Ellsworth, MN. She attended country school in the rural Ellsworth area. On January 20, 1934, Norma was united in marriage to Claus Hagge. The couple later moved to Rock Rapids in 1942. Norma and her husband Claus enjoyed taking trips by train to Chicago and various our places with their friends. Claus died on July 30, 1980. Norma continued to live in Rock Rapids and three years ago moved to the Rock Rapids Health Centre. She always enjoyed visiting and sharing coffee with her friends and neighbors. Norma is survived by one brother, Gus (wife Penny) Wiese of Sioux Falls, SD; two sisters, Mabel Sandy (husband Robert) Friman of Pierre, SD and Leona Tootie Wiese of Ellsworth, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Claus Hagge, six brothers and six sisters.
