Elaine Marie Reinke

Larchwood, Iowa Elaine Reinke, age 60 of Larchwood, IA died Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 8th, at The Church of St. Mary in Larchwood, with Father Jeff Schleisman, officiating. Burial will follow in the Larchwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 7th from 2 " 8 PM, with the family present from 6- 8 PM at The Church of St. Mary in Larchwood. There will be a 7:00 PM Vigil service Monday evening at the church. Elaine Marie Reinke was born on April 22, 1947 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, daughter of Harvey Edward and Mary Joan (Richarz) Reinke. She was raised on the family farm north of Larchwood, IA. She attended St. Marys School and graduated in 1965. She continued her education at Nettelton Business College in Sioux Falls, receiving her Accounting Degree. Elaine worked as an accounts receivable clerk for Raven Industries in Sioux Falls for 35 years. In 2002, Elaine began working at Lewis Cooperate Office in Sioux Falls, as a bookkeeper. Elaine was a member of St. Lamberts Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. She also was a member of the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed her yearly trips to Branson, MO, playing cards with her family, dancing, bingo, and she was an avid Elvis memorabilia collector. Elaine will be remembered as a loving, compassionate person who always put others needs in front of her own. Elaine passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls at the age of 60. She is survived by her mother, Mary Reinke of Larchwood, IA; five siblings, Thomas Reinke of Larchwood, IA, Donald Ty (LaVonne) Reinke of Larchwood, IA, Jerry (Rosie) Reinke of Omaha, NE, Nancy (Keith) Bierle of Sioux Falls, SD, and Judy (John) Anderson of Hudson, SD; 15 nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Judy Green and Jeri Smalley, both of Sioux Falls, SD. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Reinke; and a sister-in-law, Kathryn Reinke. Blessed be her memory.
