Faye Evelyn May

Ashton, Iowa Faye E. May age 95 of Ashton, IA died Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society in George, IA. There will be no services. Faye Evelyn Dilly was born on June 2, 1919 in Ashton, Iowa, the daughter of Edwin and Henrietta (Kleinhechiel) Dilly. Faye attended Ashton Public School. She married John May on April 17, 1940 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ashton. After marriage they farmed northwest of Ashton for thirty years. Faye and John spent twenty-four years wintering in the Rio-Grande Valley in southern Texas. Faye is survived by her daughter, Donna (David) Young of Mission, Texas; daughter-in-law, Gail (Loren) May Klassen of Windom, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Steven Young, Heather and Hans May; two great grandchildren; and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. May; their son, John E. May; and grandson, Mike T. Young.
