Sibley, IA Dorothy Wilson, age 98 of Sibley, IA died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Sibley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Sibley, IA. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 29th at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Sibley, IA, with Father Alan Reicks celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Andrew's Cemetery in Sibley. Visitation will be one hour prior the service on Monday morning at the church. Dorothy G. Wilson was born August 10, 1916 at Brewster, Minnesota, the daughter of Bernard and Jeanette (Enkhaus) Krukemeyer. She attended Brewster High School. After her education she worked at Soderquist & Bell Hardware Store in Sibley Iowa. She was united in marriage to Alex Wilson on July 30, 1938 in Worthington, MN. After their marriage they lived in Sibley. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Sibley, IA, and active with Catholic Daughters and the St. Andrew's Guild. She enjoyed sewing, craft work, knitting, baking and playing in bridge clubs. She enjoyed sitting outside of her home in the summer looking at the beautiful flowers in her garden and visiting with her special neighbors and friends. On March 25, 1983 Dorothy's husband, Alex died after 44 years of marriage. In April of 2013, Dorothy entered Sibley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Sibley, and remained there until her death this past Tuesday, December 16, 2014. She is survived by her children, James (wife, Judy) Wilson of Fredericksburg, TX, and Thomas (wife, Linda) Wilson of Sioux Falls, SD; daughters-in-law, Kay Wilson of Sibley, IA and Jean Wilson of Mechanicsville, IA nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren, brother, Mark (Diane) Krukemeyer of Hoyt Lakes, MN; and many other extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Wilson; son, Jack Wilson, grandson, Michael Wilson; brother, George Krukemeyer; three sisters, Audrey Clark, Alice Grubich, and Janet Humes.
