Margaret "Diane" South

Sibley, IA        Margaret Diane South, age 86 of Sibley, IA died Friday, April 29, 2016 at Sibley Specialty Care in Sibley, IA.      Her ashes will be scattered on the upper East Fork of Pine Creek west of Kellogg Idaho near her fathers'.        Margaret Diantha “Diane” South was born on September 18, 1929 in Spokane WA, the daughter of Harley and Gladys (Allen) South. Her first four years were in Idaho and then her family moved to Bagley, MN. While in 5th grade they moved to Kellogg, ID. After 6th grade they moved to Spokane, WA. Following the death of her father, her family moved to Los Angeles where she finished high school and Business College. Diane worked for 42 years in the Aerospace industry, at Hughes Aircraft and TRW (now Northrup Grumman). In 1992 she retired and moved to Sibley, IA to be near her sister and her family.        She is survived by her nieces and nephews and the children of Milton and Delia McCoy; and many special friends.        Diane was preceded into eternal life by her parents; her sister Marjorie (Morris) Snow; her brother William (Brenda) South; and special friend Delia (Toots) McCoy.
