Sibley, IA Florence “Dolly” Schuck, age 90 of Sibley, IA died on Thursday, August 18, 2016 in Sibley, IA. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church in Sibley, with Reverend Terry Simm officiating. Burial will follow at the Holman Township Cemetery in Sibley, IA. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23rd from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the First Presbyterian Church in Sibley. Florence Dolly Schuck was born on April 19, 1926, the daughter of Herb and Florence Henrichs. Dolly grew up in Rushmore, MN. On October 22, 1946, she was united in marriage to Les Schuck. The couple lived in the Worthington and Bigelow area. In 1947, they moved to the family farm near Sibley, where they resided until 1966. They then purchased a locker plant and moved to Sibley. Dolly worked at various jobs in Sibley and twenty years at Country View Manor. She was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, gospel concerts and most of all her flower garden. Family was an important part of her life and she cherished her two children. Dolly passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 in Sibley at the age of 90. Dolly is survived by her two children: Daryl (Sue) Schuck of Laguna Hills, CA and Peggy Schuck of Stillwater, MN; three grandchildren: Mindi (Trevor) Hislop of Viera, FL, Holly Rawlings of Wyoming, MN and Craig Rawlings of St. Paul, MN; two great-grandchildren: Noah and Zachary; sister, Violet Clark of Rushmore, MN; sister-in-law, Lorraine Petersen St. James, MN; and two brothers-in-law, Ed Brandt of Sibley, IA and Vernon Schuck of Santa Rosa, CA; Dolly’s loyal friend Letha Gacke of Sibley, IA; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Les; three sisters: Lillian Brandt, Anna Henrichs and Minnie Houtsma; brother, Harvey Henrichs; foster brother, Jim Baumann.
