Craig Wildeman

Sibley, IA        Craig Wildeman, age 38 of Brandon, SD, died unexpectedly Saturday, September 3, 2016 at his home in Brandon, SD.        Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 9th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sibley, IA with Rev. Barbara Kopperud officiating.        Inurnment will follow in the Holman Township Cemetery in Sibley, IA.        Visitation with family present will also be Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sibley.      Craig Wildeman was born June 6, 1978 in Sibley, IA to Jerry and Janet (Behrens) Wildeman. He graduated from Sibley High School and furthered his education at NCC and receiving a Bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University in Brookings. He worked in customer service for Citibank in Sioux Falls, SD. Craig was known for his love of family and his big heart. He enjoyed following the Chicago Cubs very much. He, Brad, and Uncle Glenn took a road trip to Chicago by way of Milwaukee several years ago to catch games for both the Brewers and the Cubs. Being at Wrigley Field with his family and enjoying a couple games was one of the highlights of his life. He also enjoyed collecting Legos and Lego sets. He assembled quite a collection of rare pieces and was very proud of them. He also enjoyed sharing that hobby with others, especially his nephew and niece, which were also allowed to play with them. He loved spending time with his brother Brad playing and watching video games. He also enjoyed watching movies with his family. This past Saturday September 3rd Craig passed away at home at the age of 38. He will be greatly missed.      He is survived by his father, Jerry Wildeman; siblings, Chris (Wendy) Wildeman and their children Caitlin and Michael all of Linn Grove, IA; Brad Wildeman of Brandon, SD; and Tracy Mburu of Sibley, IA; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and other extended family members.      Craig was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Wildeman.
