Merle Dean Wiarda

Rock Rapids, IA        Merle D. Wiarda, age 66 of Rock Rapids, IA was found dead on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at his residence in Rock Rapids.        Graveside service will be at 2:00PM, Friday, March 3rd at Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids, IA, with full military honors by American Legion and VFW.        He is survived by a son, Jarrod (Taylor) Hill of Eau Claire, WI; brothers, Doug Wiarda of Rock Rapids, Bob Wiarda of Duluth, MN and Jeff (Patricia) Wiarda of Sheldon, Iowa; and two grandsons.        He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mary Ann Wiarda.
