Stella Ann Schneider

Rock Rapids, Iowa        Stella Ann (Walters) Schneider, age 78 of Northridge, CA, formerly of Rock Rapids, IA died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Valley View Guest Home in Northridge, CA.        Graveside service will begin at Jurrens Funeral Home at 3:30 PM on Saturday, July 8th and process to Stateline Cemetery, rural Rock Rapids, IA with Rev. Richard Gordon officiating.        Stella Ann (Walters) Schneider was born July 25, 1938 at Ash Creek, MN. She graduated from Central Lyon High School and moved to Los Angeles, CA where she worked as a sales rep for Blue Cross / Blue Shield for over 30 years. Stella married Quentin Schneider and they lived in Granada Hills, CA.        She is survived by sister-in-law, Lila Walters of Rock Rapids; niece, Sharon Schneidermann and her children, Brenan and Ryan of Inwood, IA; nephew, Steve Walters of Rock Rapids, IA; step-son, Kevin (Kathy) Schneider and their two children Shane and Brett all of Colorado; step-daughter, Karen (Jonathan) Lee and their children Sean and Jordan all of CA; and other extended family members.        Stella was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nellie Walters; husband, Quentin; brothers, John, Nels, Henry, and Freddie; sister-in-law, Bernice Walters; nephew-in-law, Brad Schneidermann.
