Sibley, IA Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Sibley, IA with Pastor Doug Noonkester, officiating. Private burial will take place in the First Baptist Cemetery at George, IA. Visitation with the family present will be Saturday, October 28th from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at First Baptist Church in Sibley, IA. Chad Heath Christians was born September 5, 1970, in Rock Rapids, IA the son of Delmer and Hilda (Kramer) Christians. Chad grew up in the Little Rock and George area. He attended and graduated from George High School in 1989. After high school, Chad continued to live in George and in the early 2000’s he moved to Sibley. Chad worked as an operator/laborer at Coveris in Sibley all of his working life. He enjoyed family gatherings and visiting with some of his many nephews and nieces. He collected Syracuse Orangeman memoriabilia, and enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, Minnesota Vikings and Twins. He also made trips over holidays to visit his siblings out east and join them on vacations and special occassions. For many years he lived with and took care of his father. He was especially close to his father. Chad was a private individual. Over the past while he developed some health issues and became disabled from working. Chad was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sibley, where he also attended the men's prayer group. He is survived by his siblings; Fred (Kathy) Christians of Rock Rapids, IA; Grace (Carl) Depo of Louisburg, NC; Herman (Linda) Christians of George, IA; Pearl Schiebler (Earl Daley) of North Syracuse, NY; Roger Christians of Lennox, SD; Jason (Connie) Christians of George, IA; Heidi Hess of Mason City, IA and sister-in-law, Kathy (Mike) LeTendre of Slayton, MN. Chad was preceded in death by his parents, Delmer and Hilda Christians; brother, Ted Christians; sister, Ethel Christians; and nephew, Ethan Christians.
