Maria Rettin

George, IA     Maria Rettin age 47 of George, IA died Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.         Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Jurrens Funeral Home in George, IA with Pastor Jerome Eliam, officiating.  Burial will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery at George, IA.  Visitation will be Saturday, November 11th from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. with the family present at the Jurrens Funeral Home of George.      Maria Theresa Rettin was born January 24, 1970, in Guam the daughter of Ernie and Felycida (Millar) Ceraos.  Maria grew up at Gaum where she received her education.  She was united in marriage to Elias Rettin at Phoenix, AZ.  They made their home in Arizona for 13 years.  She moved to George to be close to her family.   During her life she worked as a cashier for various retailers.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and reading.  Maria died November 2, 2017 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of forty-seven.      She is survived by her husband, Elias Rettin of Phoenix, AZ; their children, Eligah Rettin and Elirie Rettin of George, IA; mother, Felycida Ceraos; 1 brother and 2 sisters; along with many relatives.      Maria was preceded in death by her, father, Ernie.
