Rock Rapids, IA         Lori L. Stettnichs age 57 of Rock Rapids, IA died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Rock Rapids Health Centre.      Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2017 at Jurrens Funeral Home in Rock Rapids, IA with Rev. Mark Hansen officiating. Inurnment will follow at Hillside Cemetery near Doon, IA.       Visitation will be Friday, March 9th from 12:00 noon until the time of service at Jurrens Funeral Home of Rock Rapids, IA.     Lori Lee Stettnichs was born September 30, 1960 in Rock Rapids, IA. She was the daughter of Leland and Norma (Kirk) Stettnichs. She grew up in Rock Rapids graduating from Central Lyon High School in 1979. The joy of her life was her dog Mr. Jiggles. He brought her joy and happiness for many years. He was her companion and friend and the love of her life. He died in 2017.       Over the years Lori worked several jobs when she was able to. She also had many health issues. Mental health was a major problem for her for many years. We hope she will find the peace in Heaven she was never able to achieve here on earth. You’re ugly, you’re worthless’ is all your brain hears…No one can fix you, that’s what you tell yourself and the torture is known as…Mental Health.”     Lori is survived by her brother, Kurt Stettnichs of Spencer, IA and a niece Danielle (Todd) Meinerts of Rock Rapids, IA; cousins and friends.      She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents.
