Ada Lenora Wieman was born on March 28, 1933, the daughter of Ed and Ann (Renken) Wieman.  She attended Little Rock School, graduating in 1951.  In her early years, Ada helped her family on the farm and also did babysitting and house-cleaning in Little Rock.

The Salem Reformed Church was Ada's life.  She belonged to Willing Workers Circle and was a church member, a Sunday School teacher and a Catechism teacher for many years.  Her dedication to her church and her Lord was an example to many.  Ada influenced generations of Salem members, created foundations and gave initial Spiritual form for too many people to count.  She had a simplistic and child-like faith that was complete and solid. She was charitable to many and welcoming to all.  Many people will remember her famous egg coffee.  Her dedication to her church carried into the physical aspect of a church by working as the church's secretary and janitor for 50 years.  She saw to it, even after her retirement, that shut-ins and Salem families at a distance always received the bulletin.  She also served the Classis West Sioux in many ways.  Including attending the meetings and doing the minutes.

Ada's dedication did not end at the church.  She was particularly dedicated to her family.  She devoted her life to the care both of her parents in their last days and again for her beloved brother, Delbert, while he endured years of dialysis.  She also found time to be dedicated to Little Rock.  She was a member of Little Rock Women's Club and Little Rock Town & Country Club.

In the early years, Ada enjoyed spending time with her parents and brother and, later, with her brother.  They enjoyed the Spencer Fair, going to threshing bees, shelling corn, eating out and many trips to California.  The trips to California included sightseeing and visiting friends and relatives along the way and was highlighted by the Rose Bowl Parade and a visit to the Crystal Cathedral.

After Delbert's passing, Ada continued to have dedication to her family.  She continued to enjoy family reunions/functions and going to Art and Connie's for Sunday dinner.  She had a love of the farm and enjoyed watching wildlife, the crops and traffic from her living room window.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.

Those left to cherish her memory are her extended family and many special friends.
