     Alfreda M. Sandbeck age 80 of Sibley, IA passed away July 1, 2020 at her home near Sibley, surrounded by loving family.

     A time of visitation will take place Sunday, July 12, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with family present at the Jurrens Funeral Home Walton Chapel in Sibley, IA. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.

     Alfreda Mae Sandbeck was born October 31, 1939 at Lillian, NE the daughter of Alfred and Pearl (Moore) Christenen. She attended grade school at C-23 Gates, NE, and high school at Sargent NE.

     She married Marlyn Turner in 1957 and later divorced. She married Alfred Clarence Sanbeck on June 24, 1969 until Alfred died in 1991.

   Alfreda worked in St. Cloud for Armour. In 1969 she started working for Campbells in Worthington, MN and worked there until it closed.

     She is survived by her son, Marvin Turner of Aitkin, MN; daughter, Gloria (Dwayne) Horner of Aitkin, MN; sons, Brad (Allison) Sandbeck of George, IA and Danny (Davina) Sandbeck of Bigelow, MN; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Christensen of Rathdrum, ID; nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

     Alfreda was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Pearl Christensen; husband, Alfred Clarence Sandbeck; son, Darel; five brothers, three sisters; and special friend Wendell McCarty.
