      Anastacia Calderon de Cuadros age 76 of Sibley, IA died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Sibley Specialty Care in Sibley, IA.

      Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2^nd at the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Sibley, with Father Doug M. Klein as celebrant.  Burial will follow at Holman Township Cemetery in Sibley.

      Visitation will be Monday, July 1 st with family present from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Jurrens Funeral Home of Sibley, IA.

      Anastacia Calderon de Cuadros was born April 18, 1943 in San Carlos  Sija, Guatemala, the daughter of Antonio Calderson and Cecilia Diaz. She was raised in Guatemala. She was united in marriage to Retalhulen Cuadros. They were blessed with eight children. Along with raising children she enjoyed sewing and watching her favorite soccer team, Barcelona. She also enjoyed going to the casino, and attending dances with her husband. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her strong religious faith, her amazing tortillas from scratch and her good sense of humor.

      She is survived by husband of 59 years, Retelhulen Cuadros of Sibley, IA; seven children, Mario Francisco Cuadros of Sibley, IA, Rafael Enrique Cuadros (wife, Vilma) of Sibley, IA, Gloria Alejandra Cuadros (husband, Raul) of Guatemala, Maria Antonia Cuadros of Guatemala, Osvaldo Cuadros (wife, Jaquelyn) of Ocheyedan, IA, Ani Elizabeth Cuadros (husband, Steve) of Little Rock, IA and Ana Cudros of Sibley; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two sister, Margarita Calderon Diaz and Juana Calderon Diaz of Guatemala; and many other extended family.

       She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Cecilia; daughter, Cecilia Candelaria; two grandsons, Randy Cuadros and Luis Rodriguez; a granddaughter, Kimberly Herrera; and six brothers.
