A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 1:30 PM Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church in Rock Rapids with Rev. Jeff Poppinga.

April Kay Komor, age 41 of Rock Rapids passed away March 26th, 2024 while in California. She was born April 27th, 1982 to Kirk and Tammy Vanden Bosch. She was the baby of the family for 8 years before becoming a big sister. Following high school she went on to cosmetology school and was employed at various salons. April was a multitasker and found that waitressing fulfilled her endless amount of energy better for her. It also allowed her to provide for her two boys and daughter. She loved her kids dearly and gave them some of the best birthday parties. She made many laughs because of her own silly self, (unknowingly most of the time). She would "catch on" and bust out in laughter with the rest of us.

April is survived by her children Haley, Kyle and Lucas; dad and stepmom Kirk and Lisa Vanden Bosch; sisters Erin, Alesha (Iby) and Danielle (Dusty); brother Jesse; step sister Amber (Jeremy); step brothers Justin and Jonathan; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle's, cousins and friends.

Preceding her are her mom Tammy; grandparents Bert and Lois Vanden Bosch along with Joe and Kay Blank; sister Heidi Joe; uncles Leonard and Monty Vanden Bosch. Blessed be her memory.
