Arlyn Peter Becker age 69, of Rock Rapids, IA passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA. He was born April 26, 1955, in Sibley, IA, the son of Harm and Amanda (DeBuhr) Becker.

An Arlyn Becker Memorial 8 Ball pool tournament has been scheduled for March 15, 2025 at the County Seat Grill in Rock Rapids, IA, arranged and hosted by his dear friends, with family being present from 11-2 pm for anyone to pay their respects.

Arlyn (PeeWee) graduated from Central Lyon, class of 1974. Following graduation, he attended NWICC and got his associates degree in auto body. Soon after, he got married and with that short marriage came two daughters, Rachel Ann and Robin Renee.

Arlyn was a devoted father; balancing work, hobbies, and home. In his spare time, Arlyn enjoyed shooting pool, bowling, fishing, hunting, working on cars, welding, shooting trap, and drinking his 2 liter bottles of Mt Dew. He really was a jack of all trades! Arlyn was always helping someone with their boats, cars, lawnmowers, etc. There wasn't anything he wouldn't try to fix.

Surviving him are his two daughters, Rachel Becker and special friend Branden Johns, of Sioux Falls, SD; Robin Eggink and her husband, Scott, of Vinton, IA; 6 grandchildren, Tyson Garnmeister of Sioux Falls,SD, William McClay of Mason City, IA, Marissa McClay of Collingdale, PA, twins Sean and Sara McClay of Collingdale, PA and Ricky Johns of Sioux Falls, SD. His twin brother, Harlyn Becker, of Doon, IA, and 2 niece's and 1 nephew.

Arlyn was preceded in death by his parents Harm and Amanda (De Buhr) Becker, sister Karen Becker and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
