Robert John deBoer was born August 28, 1959 in Rock Rapids, IA to Herbert and Luella (Pruismann) deBoer.  He graduated from Little Rock High School.  On August 11, 1984 he was united in marriage to Flo Prins in Sibley, IA.  The couple made their first home in Little Rock.  They then lived in Spearfish, SD, George, IA and Beaman, IA. Bob has been sober for 35 years and was passionate about Alcoholics Anonymous.  He was proud of his sobriety and willing to help others in their walk, which he did many times.
