NOTICE: Sibley, IA 

     Bradley “Brad” Julius age 60 of Sibley, Iowa died Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

     Funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at First Presbyterian Church in Sibley, Iowa with Reverend Ernest L. Gardner, III and Chad Hayenga, officiating.

     Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery in Little Rock, IA.    

     Visitation will take place Tuesday, May 31^st from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Sibley.

     Arrangements are in the care of the Jurrens Funeral Home of Sibley, IA.    

     Bradley Allen Julius was born on August 18, 1961, in Sibley, IA, the son of Frank and Audrey (Jans) Julius. He grew up in Sibley and attended Sibley schools. On October 25, 1980, he was united in marriage to Linda Pomrenke at the Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Rushmore, MN.

     Brad farmed with his dad and his brother Scott for many years and for the last ten years he worked for NFP. He loved farming, fixing things, and especially spending time with grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Brad liked riding around looking at the fields whether it was with his friends or his family. He had a big heart and would jump at the chance to help anyone that needed help with anything. Brad will be greatly missed.

     Brad is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Linda Julius of Sibley, IA; four children, Jennifer (Justin) Kruger, Jedd (Ruby) Julius, Jill (Jeremy) Gibson and Joseph Julius (special friend, Bailey Fitch) all of Sibley, IA; sixteen grandchildren, Austin, Alex, and Aiden Kruger; Landon and Chloe Sheda; Aiden Fothergill; Tyson, Christopher, and Lucas Julius; Kyliegh and Desmond Wollmuth; Aubreah Gibson; and Kayne, Jorryn, Jacey, and Kyler Julius; mother, Audrey Julius of Sibley, IA; four siblings, Carol Reiter (friend Reggie Ommen) of Sibley, Deb Willemssen of Lennox, SD, Stacy (Duke) Marco of Ocheyedan, IA and Scott (Karey) Julius of Sibley, IA; many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

     He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; father, Frank Julius; son, Christopher Julius; brother, Merlyn Julius; infant granddaughter, Kamren Julius; father-in-law, George Pomrenke; and many other loved ones.
