     Cheryl Wolter age 70 of Sioux City, IA died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Unity Point Health-St. Luke’s in Sioux City.

     Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Holman Township Cemetery in Sibley, Iowa with Pastor Jennifer Hesebeck officiating.

     Cheryl Eileen Wolter was born January 8, 1949 to Orville and Doris (Halverson) Olson in Ames, Iowa. She was raised in Zearing, Iowa and graduated from Zearing High School in 1967. On September 6, 1986 Cheryl was united in marriage to Glenn Wolter at the family farm near Ocheyedan, Iowa. They spent their lives together living in Sioux City. Glenn passed away in 2006. Cheryl worked at Goodwill for 30 years before retiring. Cheryl liked reading and listening to music.

     Cheryl is survived by her brothers, David (Sandy) Olson of Nevada, Iowa, and Ronald Olson of Zearing, Iowa.

     She was preceded in death by her parents Orville and Doris Olson; and her husband, Glenn Wolter.
