     Chris Cadman age 60 of Rock Rapids, Iowa died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at his residence in Rock Rapids, IA.  

     The family will be having a gathering at a later date.

     Chris Edward Cadman was born on February 19, 1964, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Ronald G. and Alice Kay (Meyers) Cadman. He lived in several communities in Iowa and worked various places until he became disabled. He moved to Rock Rapids, IA in 2006.

     In his youth he enjoyed listening to rock & roll music, fishing and was a car enthusiast. Chris lived a simple life, spending time with friends over a cup of coffee. He was especially fond of his cat “Maggie”.

     He is survived by his son, Anthony; his sister, ReNae (Ken) Leuthold of Rock Rapids, IA; sister, Lisa (Brent) Ackart of Cottonwood, AZ; brother, Kurt (Jo) Green of Lamoni, IA; two nephews, Nate (Janelle) Leuthold of Des Moines, IA and Jason Leuthold of Minneapolis, MN; and a niece, McKenzie (Dalton) Skidmore, and their daughter, Rylie, of Rock Rapids, IA.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Alice Cadman.
