Clifford Allen Logan

Rock Rapids, Iowa 

     Cliff Logan, age 40, of Rock Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.     

     A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16th with family present from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Rock River Golf & Country Club.     

     Clifford Allen Logan was born on August 14, 1983, in Rock Rapids, Iowa, the son of Sidney and Janet (Huisman) Logan. He grew up in Rock Rapids, Iowa, and graduated from Central Lyon High School in 2002. During high school, Cliff played football. In his younger years, Cliff was on a traveling basketball team.

     After his education, he worked in construction and enjoyed hunting and spending time with his friends.  He most recently worked for Signature Construction out of Sioux Falls, SD.

     Cliff is survived by his parents, Sidney and Janet Logan of Rock Rapids, IA; a brother, Christopher (Christine) Logan of Brandon, SD, a sister, Tessa (Chad) Halverson of Sioux Falls, SD; grandmother “Bestemor”, Shirley Huisman Rock Rapids, IA; his Aunt Jackie Johnson and her family; Aunt Jeri and her family; Aunt Joann Flier and her family; and many friends and other extended family.

     He was preceded in death by his grandfather “Opa”, Clifford Huisman; grandparents, Lubertus and Ann Groote; three uncles: Gene Zachow, Gene Logan, Larry Logan, and John Flier.
