Clifford Wynia age 76, of Sibley died Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Osceola Regional Hospital in Sibley, IA.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Christian Reformed Church in Sibley with the family present.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 9th, at the Christian Reformed Church in Sibley, IA with Pastor Ben Wiersma, officiating. Burial will follow in the Holman Township Cemetery at Sibley, IA.

Clifford Wynia was born on November 16, 1946 in Sioux Center, IA, to Cornie & Jeanette Wynia. Clifford graduated from Western Christian High School in 1964. He then enlisted in the Army in May of 1968 through June of 1969 where he served in Vietnam. He has been a farmer all his life and took over the farm from his parents after serving in the military.

Clifford married Karen Griffioen on June 30, 1970 at the Sheldon Christian Reformed Church. To this union five children were born.

Clifford was best known for his dedication to his family, to helping others, being diligent in his work, his involvement in church, and his love for God. He and Karen loved to travel to visit family. Clifford loved his life on the dairy farm including his barn full of black and white girlfriends! In his spare time he loved to be working in his wood shop and reading books .

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Karen Wynia, of Sibley, IA, his children & their spouses: Chris & Tiffany Wynia (Sibley, IA), Michael & Kathy Wynia (Zeeland, MI), Melissa & Daniel Wiersma (Sheldon, IA), William & Stacy Wynia (Hagerstown, MD), Jessica & Travis Williams (Sibley, IA), 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his siblings & their spouses Donna & Rich Heuseveldt, Joanne & Ron Hesselink, Ruth & Bernie Van Hal, Jerrold & Rhonda Wynia.

Clifford is preceded in death by his parents Cornie & Jeanette Wynia, step mom Jean Wynia, and Karen's parents Bill & Myrna Griffioen.
