     Daryl G. Kruger age 82 of Ellsworth, MN died Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Park View Manor in Ellsworth, MN.

     A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Zion Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth, MN. Burial will follow at Evergreen Lawn Cemetery in George, IA.

     A time of public visitation will take place prior to the service on Thursday, from 9:00 AM to time of service at 10:30 AM at Zion Presbyterian in Ellsworth.

     We will be complying with Minnesota mandate of mandatory facemask and social distancing.

   Daryl Gene Kruger was born November 19, 1937 in George, IA to George A. and Henrietta (Stubbe) Kruger. He grew up on a farm by George, IA. He attended Little Rock No. 5 Country School.

     On August 23, 1960 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Wibben. The couple resided by George until 1969 when they moved to Ellsworth, MN. Carolyn passed away October 15, 2011. Daryl farmed and worked at Sudenga Industries until he retired in 2002. He was a hard worker. After his retirement he helped area farmers with their harvest. He enjoyed traveling with Carolyn and had a love for John Deere tractors.

     Survivors include his daughters, Brenda (Kevin) Gisolf of Rock Valley, IA, Kristi (Sean) Peterson of Shakopee, MN and a son, Gene (Stacey) Kruger of Dickinson, ND; four grandchildren, Rick (Brittney) Gisolf of North Port, FL, Austin (Lexy) Gisolf of Garretson, SD, Dawson Kruger of Sioux Falls, SD and Noah Peterson of Shakopee, MN; two great-grandchildren, Xavian and Liam Gisolf of North Port, FL; two step-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren; one sister, Florence (Sweer) Arends of Ellsworth, MN and many nieces and nephews.

     He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn; his parents, George and Henrietta Kruger; step-mother, Sena Kruger; two brothers, John Kruger and Albertus Kruger; sisters-in-law, Ardell Kruger and Grace Kruger; sister, Viola Kellen; brother-in-law, Don Kellen and step-sister, Katherine Kruger.
