David Jiskoot

     David Jiskoot, age 61, of Tulsa, OK died Friday, April 15, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital at Tulsa, OK.

     Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery at George, IA.

     Visitation with David’s family present will be Saturday, June 4^th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Jurrens Funeral Home of George.

     David Jiskoot was born May 19, 1960, at Orange City, IA the son of Wilmer and Rose (Menning) Jiskoot.  Dave grew up on the family farm south of George and attended George Community School.  He continued his education at Northwest Iowa Technical College in Sheldon for auto body technician.  During his life he worked in a Body Shop in Tulsa, OK and for the last few years he worked as a handyman.  On April 15, 2022, David died at the age of sixty-one at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.

     He is survived by his father, Wilmer Jiskoot of George, IA; brother, Arlan (Terri) Jiskoot of Tulsa, OK; sister-in-law, Jackie Jiskoot of Boyden, IA; his niece and nephew, Tara (Kevin) Johnson of Johnston, IA, and Justin (Karissa) Jiskoot of Marshall, MN; along with his great niece and nephew, Ella and Easton Jiskoot.

     David was preceded in death by his mother, Rose and brother, Leland Jiskoot.
