 David Perlick, age 68 of George, IA died Monday, July 8, 20224, at his residence in George, IA.

 David Paul Perlick was born October 30, 1955 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Donald C. and June E. (Ericson) Perlick. He was raised in Wauwatosa, WI and graduated from Wauwatosa West High School. 

 After high school he was briefly married to Susette Robertson in Chicago, IL, then moved back to Wisconsin, where he worked at Project Concern/St. Francis, in Cuddahy, WI. He then moved to Menomony Falls, WI and was married to Laurie. He worked at Alto Shaam Inc. for 23 years before moving to George, IA and worked as an electical wirer for 13 years at L.V.O. Manufacturing in Rock Rapids, IA. He was married Karen Lyn Ashmore on October 30, 2009 in George, IA.

  He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in George, IA. He loved his Disc Jockey, his job at L.V.O., fishing, traveling, good food, get togethers with friends and helping others. He also was avid Packer fan. He was especially was proud of the day his daughter was born, providing care for his aunt’s property in northern Wisconsin, and his involvement with Support Group. Dave was thankful to know people, such as his daughter, Amy Schnieder, the Bullock family, Jerry Johnson, the Smith family, sister Susie, Deb Schoofs, Marvin Northway, Marlon Top, Brenda Halaska, Joan Karshen, Paula Lawlor, Carol Daebel and Dutch Dowske. He was very fond of his pet cats, Daisy, Junebug, Toots, Max and Princess Mia.

  He is survived by his wife, Karen Lyn Perlick of George, IA; his daughter, Amy Jean (Ben) Schnieder, and their son, Athon Schnieder of Allenton, WI; brother, Dean Perlick of Fon Du Lac, WI; and sister, Donna Kohls of Water Town, WI; and serveral other extended family. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and June Perlick; mother-in-law, Maripat Balistreri.
